About this item
SKU RUB153CBLU — 19 1/2" × 19 1/2" × 27 7/8", Plastic, Blue.
Maximize your facility ' s floor space with this heavy-duty 35-gallon square recycling container (19.5 " x 19.5 " x 27.9 " ). Built from durable plastic that resists dents, peeling, and chipping for long-term performance. Universal recycle symbol printed for instant staff recognition.
Common questions
How much floor space do these containers save compared to round recycling cans?
Square containers maximize your available floor space, particularly important in warehouses with linear wall placement. The 191/2" 191/2" footprint nests perfectly against walls or into shelving units, and empty containers stack compactly for centralized storage, freeing up 35-40% more aisle space than cylindrical alternatives.
Will this plastic container withstand outdoor conditions and rough handling?
Yes. Heavy-duty HDPE plastic resists UV degradation, won't peel, dent, or chip from forklift contact or loading dock impacts. Unlike metal containers, it requires no repainting or rust treatment, reducing total cost of ownership across multiple facility locations.
Are lids included, and do I need to order them separately?
Lids are sold separately. This allows you to customize your setup, purchase lids only for containers requiring them (like outdoor areas or break rooms), while open-top configurations work well for high-volume sorting stations on production floors.
How does the universal recycle symbol help with compliance and worker training?
The imprinted universal recycle symbol eliminates confusion and ensures consistent waste stream segregation across your facility. This supports OSHA compliance for waste management procedures and reduces sorting errors, which improves recycling program ROI and contractor pickup efficiency.
