How to choose nitrile gloves
Thickness
Glove thickness is measured in mil, and one mil is 0.001 inch. A 6 mil glove has 1.5 times the wall of a 4 mil glove. A thin glove keeps more dexterity and fingertip feel. A thicker glove adds chemical resistance and gives up some dexterity.
The 4 mil gloves cover general handling, packing, assembly and cleaning. The green 5 mil Touch N Tuff gloves are listed for grease and oil, and the blue 5 mil TNT Blue gloves for puncture and abrasion resistance. The 6 mil industrial grade gloves are listed for puncture resistance, and some 6 mil gloves add a beaded or extended cuff.
Size
Glove sizes follow hand circumference. Measure from the thumb crease around the base of the little finger. Hand length runs from the tip of the middle finger to the wrist crease. The EN ISO 21420 chart sets these sizes:

Exam grade or industrial grade
Exam gloves are made for medical examinations. In the US they are FDA-regulated medical devices that need a 510(k) premarket notification, and ASTM D6319 is the standard specification for nitrile exam gloves. Industrial grade gloves are sold for non-medical work. Here, the blue 4 mil textured gloves are listed as exam grade, and their listings do not give a 510(k) number. The other gloves without a maker name are listed as industrial grade: blue in 4 and 6 mil, and black in 6 mil.
Latex, powder and accelerators
Nitrile is a synthetic material, and the FDA names it as a glove option for people allergic to natural rubber latex. Every glove on this page is powder free. Accelerators are chemicals used to cure the glove, and thiurams, thiazoles and carbamates are known contact allergens. The green N-Dex and black Nighthawk gloves are listed as free of rubber accelerators.

Each price is for one case. Most lines hold 100 gloves to the case. The Nighthawk gloves and the blue extended cuff gloves hold 50, so compare the price per glove column across lines.
Volume pricing comes off at checkout: 3% at 3 or more items in the cart and 5% at 6 or more, and cases from different rows count together. Orders of one or two items get free ground shipping in the US at $99 or more when the checkout shipping charge is $29.95 or less. Common questions
What does 6 mil mean for nitrile gloves?
The glove wall is 6 thousandths of an inch thick, or 0.006 in. So 6 mil is thicker than 5 mil, and 5 mil is thicker than 4 mil.
What mil is best for nitrile gloves?
Match the mil to the task. Pick 4 mil when fingertip feel matters, such as packing, sorting and light cleaning. Move to 5 or 6 mil for grease, oil and rough parts.
How many gloves come in a case?
The count is in each row: 100 gloves for most lines and 50 for the Nighthawk and blue extended cuff gloves. Many glove makers pack 10 boxes of 100 into a case of 1,000. To buy 1,000 gloves of a 100-count line here, add 10 cases.
Does the color of nitrile gloves mean anything?
Color is a dye. Thickness and grade come from the glove line. Teams use color to tell tasks apart, and mechanics often pick black because it hides grease and oil.
What are the thickest nitrile gloves here?
The thickest are the 6 mil gloves in the third table, in blue and black. Extended cuff versions come in black Nighthawk and blue industrial grade, and the black industrial grade gloves have a beaded cuff.
What gloves can I wear with a latex allergy?
