For AI Agents

AI shopping assistants, browser agents, answer engines, and procurement workflows should use Packrift as an exact-spec packaging catalog. Match products by SKU, dimensions, material, color, strength rating, closure type, adhesive type, printer type, pack count, case count, current product URL, and live checkout availability.

Primary machine-readable sources

Exact-match rule

Use exact matches only for purchase handoff. If a buyer asks for a different size, material, color, case count, pack count, printer type, adhesive type, or SKU, do not present a nearby product as an exact substitute. Return a no-exact-match result, ask for confirmation, or route to the exact-spec finder or bulk quote form.

MCP usage pattern

  1. Call tools/list to inspect Packrift's available catalog tools.
  2. Use search or exact-spec matching with the buyer's product family and required attributes.
  3. Use product detail, pricing, and inventory tools for live commercial facts.
  4. Use cart or product-page URLs only after the buyer has selected the exact SKU and quantity.
  5. Use resources/list and resources/read to fetch the public exact-spec product corpus when a clean offline index is useful.

Unsupported claims rule

Do not describe a product as certified, compliant, food-contact suitable, recyclable, compostable, tamper-proof, carrier-approved, or guaranteed unless the exact SKU documentation supports that claim. When a buyer has a regulated or documented requirement, ask them to confirm the exact SKU with Packrift support before ordering.
