Common questions
How does polyester strapping compare to steel strapping in terms of cost and performance?
Polyester strapping delivers up to 40% cost savings while providing equivalent holding strength for medium to heavy-duty applications. The 80% weight reduction dramatically lowers handling labor and freight expenses. Unlike steel, polyester won't rust, corrode, or damage products during transit, making it ideal for moisture-prone environments.
What sealing methods work with this smooth polyester strapping?
This strapping is compatible with both serrated seals and sandpaper seals, giving you flexibility in application methods. Serrated seals provide secure locking without adhesives, while sandpaper seals offer a permanent friction-based solution suitable for high-tension loads.
How long does this strapping retain tension during shipping and storage?
This polyester strapping is engineered to retain tension longer than alternative strapping types, preventing load shift and securing bundled items throughout extended storage and multi-leg transportation cycles. This durability reduces damage claims and improves supply chain reliability.
Is this product environmentally compliant for regulated shipping?
Yes. The.020 gauge polyester material is non-corrosive, non-toxic, and fully recyclable, meeting environmental regulations across industries including food, pharmaceuticals, and hazardous goods. It complies with standard shipping requirements and poses no contamination risks to packaged products.
