About this item

Premium 1 " x 36 yds blue 3M vinyl tape 471 with 5.2 mil durable backing, designed for packing lines that demand fast, reliable adhesion. Common questions
Will this tape stick to cardboard and kraft paper without pre-cleaning?
Yes. The rubber adhesive contacts most industrial packing materials directly, cardboard, kraft, corrugated, and hybrid laminates, without requiring surface prep, moisture removal, or dispenser modifications. This minimizes setup time and line downtime.
Is the blue color permanent, or does it fade with moisture and sunlight?
The bright blue is permanently locked into the 5.2 mil vinyl backing and resists fading from moisture, UV exposure, and warehouse humidity. It maintains visibility for case identification throughout storage, transit, and handling.
Can standard tape dispensers handle this 1-inch vinyl tape?
Yes. This roll is compatible with most 2-inch handheld and tabletop dispensers without core adjustment. The standard 3" core fits universal mounting brackets used across manual and semi-automated packing lines.
How does this tape perform against chemicals, moisture, and temperature changes?
The durable vinyl backing resists oils, acids, alkaline chemicals, and moisture exposure, ideal for food, pharmaceutical, and industrial environments. The rubber adhesive remains tacky from -10°C to 60°C without dripping or separating under normal warehouse conditions.
