About this item
SKU T93520112PK — 60 yds. × 60 yds., 4.4 Mil, Tan. Sold as a case of 12, shipped from US warehouses.
3M 201+ masking tape delivers reliable light-to-medium duty performance for bundling, labeling, and case sealing on your packing line. Common questions
Will this tape work in my case sealing dispenser?
Yes. The 1" width and 4.4 mil thickness are standard dispenser-compatible dimensions. Test with your specific dispenser model before full-line deployment. The crepe paper backing feeds smoothly without bunching or tearing.
How does this tape perform on cardboard cores and edge sealing?
The rubber-based adhesive bonds reliably to cardboard, kraft, and corrugate surfaces without requiring pressure or heat activation. It adheres immediately upon contact, making it ideal for high-speed packing lines where dwell time is minimal.
Can I use this tape for outdoor storage or heated environments?
For indoor use up to 200°F (30-minute exposure). Avoid prolonged outdoor exposure or direct sunlight, as UV degradation may weaken the crepe paper backing. For heated warehouses, verify ambient temps stay below 85°F during storage.
How much will 12 rolls cover on a standard packing line?
At 1" width, each 60-yard roll covers approximately 180 linear feet of single-strip application. A case of 12 delivers 2,160 linear feet of coverage, typically sufficient for 1-2 shifts on moderate-volume lines. Actual coverage depends on tape width usage and sealing methodology.
