About this item
SKU T96560Y — 60' × 1", 33 Mil, Yellow.
Prevent workplace accidents with Tape Logic 1 " x 60 ' yellow anti-slip tape featuring a 60 grit, extra coarse sandpaper surface and heavy-duty adhesive. Rated for -20°F to 150°F, this non-slip floor tape grips sealed concrete, painted metals, and wood surfaces instantly. Sold as 1 case, the ideal slip resistant solution for packing lines and industrial facilities handling slippery fluids.
Common questions
Will this tape adhere to wet or oily surfaces?
No. The extra-strength adhesive requires clean, dry surfaces for optimal bonding. Thoroughly degrease and dry all surfaces before application. For ongoing spill areas, the coarse 60 grit surface still provides traction even as fluid films form on top, though adhesion integrity depends on proper initial installation.
How does the 60 grit sandpaper surface perform with heavy equipment traffic?
The 33 mil thickness and extra-coarse grit are engineered for industrial packing line environments with forklifts, hand trucks, and conveyor wheels. The aggressive surface resists polishing and glazing that thinner tapes experience, maintaining slip resistance through repeated equipment passes for 1-3 years depending on traffic volume.
What surfaces should I avoid using this tape on?
Do not apply to porous surfaces like unsealed concrete, bare wood, or fabric, as the adhesive will not achieve permanent bonding. Avoid glossy, heavily waxed, or vinyl surfaces. Test compatibility on painted metals and sealed concrete first in a small area before full application.
Is the yellow color a safety standard or visual preference?
Yellow is the OSHA-recommended color for caution and hazard marking, making it the industry standard for industrial safety applications. The high visibility helps supervisors and workers quickly identify traction zones, reducing slip-and-fall incidents during fast-paced packing operations.
