Is this tape compatible with my existing tape dispenser?
Yes. The 3M™ 40PR uses a standard core compatible with most 1-inch manual and automatic tape dispensers used on packing lines. Confirm your dispenser accepts 1" wide tape before ordering.
Will the pre-printed ESD symbols fade or wear during storage?
No. Symbols are printed directly onto the 2.2 mil polyester film using ink that resists fading, moisture, and UV exposure. Symbols remain visible for the full shelf life when stored in normal warehouse conditions.
What adhesion strength should I expect on corrugated boxes?
The acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive delivers 24+ oz/inch peel strength on kraft corrugated cartons. Immediate adhesion on boxes occurs at normal packing line speeds (20+ cases per minute) without special application pressure.
Can I use this tape on both case sealing and bag closure applications?
Yes. The polyester film and acrylic adhesive work on corrugated cartons, shipping bags, and protective mailers. Ensure boxes are dry and free of dust for optimal adhesion performance.
