Common questions
What makes Ship-Lite® envelopes stronger than standard paper mailers?
Ship-Lite® envelopes are reinforced with mesh screen poly fibers embedded throughout the 26 lb. paper construction, providing six times the strength of conventional paper envelopes. This hybrid material design delivers puncture resistance and durability without adding significant weight that increases shipping costs.
Are these envelopes moisture-resistant?
Yes, the mesh screen poly fiber reinforcement provides moisture-resistant protection, safeguarding contents during transit through variable humidity conditions and reducing product damage claims from environmental exposure.
How do self-seal closures improve fulfillment efficiency?
The pre-applied self-adhesive strip eliminates tape, staples, and manual closure steps, reducing fulfillment labor by 30-40% per envelope while ensuring consistent, secure sealing that meets USPS and carrier requirements.
What is the maximum expansion capacity?
The 2-inch expansion depth accommodates items up to approximately 2 inches thick when sealed, making these ideal for books, documents, magazines, and flat padded products without requiring a larger envelope size.
