Common questions
Is this tape compatible with standard automatic tape dispensers?
Yes. The 6.1 mil thickness and 2-inch width are engineered for reliable core compatibility with most industrial tape applicators. The crepe paper construction feeds smoothly without slippage, jamming, or adhesive buildup that can interrupt production.
How does this tape perform in moisture-heavy environments?
Tape Logic 2600 features moisture and solvent resistance, making it suitable for humid conditions, wet products, and facilities using cleaning solvents. The adhesion remains stable even when exposed to spray washdown or chemical fumes common in food packaging and industrial settings.
What is the adhesion strength compared to lighter masking tapes?
The 6.1 mil crepe construction provides holding power that grips corrugated, cardboard, and painted surfaces without slipping during case closure. This eliminates rework and keeps cases sealed through the supply chain.
How many rolls should we order for typical daily packing line use?
One 24-roll case provides approximately 1,440 linear feet of tape coverage. For a standard packing line running 8-hour shifts, one case typically supports 3-5 days of operation depending on case size and sealing patterns. We recommend maintaining 2-3 cases on-site to prevent production delays.
