About this item
SKU T9171400 — 60 yds × 60 yds, 180 lb Tensile Strength, Clear. Sold as a case of 24, shipped from US warehouses.
Heavy-duty 2 " x 60 yard strapping tape delivers 180 lb tensile strength for reliable case sealing and bundle reinforcement. Tape Logic 1400 is a cost-effective alternative to steel and poly strapping, ideal for high-volume packing lines. Case of 24 rolls ready to load into your dispenser.
Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing carton sealing dispenser?
Yes. Tape Logic 1400 features a standard 3-inch core compatible with virtually all industrial tape dispensers. Verify your dispenser's width tolerance (2-inch standard) before ordering to ensure straightforward packing line integration.
How does this compare to steel strapping for bundling?
With 180 lb tensile strength and adhesion, this tape delivers comparable holding power at 40-60% lower cost. Unlike steel, it requires no special safety equipment, reduces hand injuries, and seals faster on high-speed lines, ideal for supervisors optimizing labor efficiency.
What surfaces does this tape adhere to reliably?
The reinforced formula bonds securely to waxed, unwaxed, and kraft corrugated cartons, plastic-coated boxes, and most industrial packaging materials. Test on your specific substrates if using specialty finishes to confirm adhesion performance.
How many boxes can one roll seal?
A single 60-yard roll typically seals 20-30 boxes depending on box size and sealing pattern. The case of 24 rolls (1,440 yards total) supports high-volume operations; calculate your average yardage per unit to forecast case consumption and optimize reorder timing.
