Common questions
Will this tape work with our standard tape dispensers?
Yes. Tape Logic gaffers tape is designed for 2" core compatibility with all standard industrial tape dispensers, including handheld and tabletop models. No special equipment required for immediate deployment on your packing line.
Does 11 mil gaffers tape leave residue on boxes or equipment?
No. The adhesive is specifically formulated to remove cleanly without leaving sticky residue, protecting your corrugated cases and equipment surfaces. This is critical for maintaining product appearance and preventing downstream handling issues.
Why choose yellow gaffers tape over clear for packing operations?
Yellow gaffers tape improves visibility on dark warehouse floors and equipment, reducing trip hazards and improving safety compliance. The non-reflective finish prevents glare in brightly lit packing areas while maintaining professional appearance for case sealing and bundling.
How much tensile strength do I need for case sealing applications?
At 36 lb. tensile strength per 2" width, this tape handles standard case sealing, bundling, and cable securing without tearing. For heavy-duty applications (pallets, thick cordage), consider upgrading to higher-mil options. Supervisors typically prefer this weight for balanced strength and ease of dispensing.
