Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean and why does it matter for my operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) of 32 indicates the corrugated sheet can withstand 32 pounds of force per linear inch before crushing. This rating is ideal for mid-weight pallet applications and provides excellent stacking strength without the cost premium of heavier grades, making it the best cost-per-performance choice for most distribution centers.
Can I use these as slip sheets with my forklift equipment?
Yes. These 24 x 72" pads are specifically designed for slip sheet applications. They reduce friction between pallets and racking, prevent metal-to-product contact damage, and are compatible with slip sheet attachments on standard pallet jacks and forklifts.
How many sheets do I need per pallet, and will this save me money on freight?
Typical usage is 1 - 2 sheets per pallet layer, depending on product weight and stackability. By enabling tighter, safer stacking and reducing damage claims, most customers see a 5 - 10% improvement in freight efficiency per cubic foot, quickly offsetting material costs.
Are these sheets food-safe or suitable for specific industries?
These kraft corrugated sheets are general-purpose industrial packing materials suitable for non-food manufacturing, automotive parts, electronics, and retail distribution. For food contact applications, consult our sales team regarding food-grade certified alternatives.
