About this item
SKU T934301 — 60 yds. × 60 yds., 6.3 Mil, Yellow. Sold as a case of 48, shipped from US warehouses.
Trust 3M Performance 301+ masking tape to eliminate paint bleed-through on high-speed packing lines. This 3/4 " x 60 yd crepe paper tape with rubber-based adhesive conforms to irregular surfaces and handles temperatures up to 225°F for up to 30 minutes, delivering clean paint lines every time, backed by Packrift ' s commitment to industrial reliability.
Common questions
Will this tape adhere properly to damp or dusty carton surfaces on high-speed lines?
Yes. The rubber-based adhesive provides excellent conformability to irregular, slightly contaminated surfaces common in industrial packing environments. For optimal adhesion, ensure carton surfaces are free of heavy dust accumulation. The 6.3 mil thickness resists peeling under tension from moving conveyor systems.
Is this tape core-compatible with standard tape dispensers on our packing line?
Yes. The 3M 301+ uses a standard 3-inch paper core that fits all industrial tape dispensers, including air-powered and manual models. Confirm your dispenser's width capacity matches the 3/4" tape width for use.
How long will this tape last in sealed cases before degradation affects case integrity?
The rubber-based adhesive maintains permanent bond strength on sealed cases under normal storage conditions (70°F, 50% humidity). The crepe paper backing resists UV degradation when exposed to warehouse lighting, ensuring sealed cases remain secure throughout distribution.
Can this yellow tape be used for both case sealing and color-coded marking applications simultaneously?
Absolutely. The bright yellow color provides instant visual identification for quality control and bundle sorting while maintaining full sealing performance. This dual-function capability reduces SKU requirements and simplifies inventory management for supervisors managing multiple packing operations.
