Common questions
Will this tape adhere to cartons with high recycled content?
Yes. Scotch® 373 is specifically formulated to adhere instantly to cartons containing high levels of recycled content, addressing the adhesion challenges that standard tapes face on these materials. This eliminates seal failures and rework on your line.
Is this tape compatible with standard roll dispensers?
Yes. The 3-inch width and standard roll core are compatible with all common manual and electric carton sealing dispensers. The 2.5 mil thickness provides balanced tension for smooth dispensing without edge tears or wrinkles.
How does the 55-yard length compare to other tape options?
At 55 yards per roll, each roll seals approximately 40 - 60 cartons (depending on closure style). A case of 24 rolls provides 1,320 total yards, delivering 960 - 1,440 carton seals per case, ideal for high-volume operations minimizing changeover time.
What makes this tape resistant to moisture and abrasion?
The synthetic rubber adhesive and polypropylene backing are inherently resistant to moisture absorption and surface wear, maintaining seal integrity in humid environments and preventing adhesive degradation during storage or transport in variable conditions.
