Common questions
Will this tape damage painted surfaces or equipment finishes?
No. This gaffers tape is specifically formulated to leave zero residue, making it safe for painted metal, powder-coated equipment, and finished wood surfaces common in packaging facilities.
Can I use this tape on my case sealing dispenser?
Yes. The 3" width and standard 60-yard roll length are compatible with most industrial tape dispensers used in packing operations. Test dispenser compatibility with one roll before ordering bulk quantities.
Does olive green tape meet FDA or food-contact requirements?
This tape is suitable for general industrial use. For direct food contact or food-grade packaging applications, consult with Packrift to confirm compliance with your specific regulatory requirements.
What's the adhesion difference between 11 mil and thinner gaffers tape?
The 11 mil thickness delivers tensile strength (36 lb.) and durability for high-traffic packing lines where tape must withstand repeated handling, temperature fluctuations, and rough surfaces without peeling or failing.
