Common questions
Why is the 3" core size important for my packing line?
The 3" core fits standard hand dispensers and automated tabletop applicators used on packing lines, reducing changeover time between tape rolls. This compatibility eliminates equipment modifications and keeps your line running at full speed without adapter costs.
Will this tape work on different box materials without losing adhesion?
Yes. The medium-firm acrylic adhesive system bonds reliably to kraft paper, corrugated cardboard, plastics, and coated surfaces. Its aggressive formula ensures permanent adhesion across mixed substrate types common in case sealing operations, even at lower end of the 70°F - 100°F range.
How does the paper liner improve dispenser use and prevent waste?
The densified kraft paper liner peels cleanly and separates easily from the adhesive side, preventing bunching or tearing in hand dispensers. Supervisors can control exact tape length per application, reducing scrap waste compared to single-sided tape, and the liner stays on the roll until application, no pre-cutting exposure.
What's the difference between initial adhesion and shear holding power, and why do I need both?
Initial adhesion (quick stick) lets tape bond instantly on high-speed lines without wait time, while shear holding power ensures the bond resists peeling and separation during case handling, stacking, and shipping. This 2.0 mil formulation balances both, fast bonding speed plus durable permanent seals that don't fail in distribution.
