Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean, and is it strong enough for my stacking needs?
ECT-32 (Edgecrushing Test) indicates 32 lbs per inch of width crushing strength, ideal for mid-weight product stacking in standard corrugated boxes. This rating supports typical warehouse applications without over-engineering, keeping your per-unit costs low while meeting performance requirements.
Will these pads fit my existing box sizes?
Yes. The 5 7/8" x 8 7/8" dimensions are engineered to fit the most commonly used corrugated box sizes (such as 6x9 mailers and medium-sized shipping boxes), minimizing trim waste and reducing setup complexity in your fulfillment line.
Can I use these pads for something other than layer protection?
Absolutely. Beyond interlayer use, these pads work excellently as envelope stiffeners for protective mailers, preventing bending during postal handling. Many operations also use them as void-fill reinforcement or temporary box-bottom support.
How does buying in bundles of 100 affect my total packaging cost?
Bulk bundle pricing significantly reduces per-pad cost compared to smaller quantities, improving your overall packaging expense ratio. At scale, the 100-pad bundle delivers the best value for high-volume operations while maintaining inventory control and reducing storage footprint.
