Common questions
Why choose side-loading over top-loading mailers for e-commerce?
Side-loading design dramatically reduces assembly time, simply slide documents in horizontally, seal, and ship. This simplifies fulfillment workflows, minimizes handling errors, and improves staff efficiency compared to traditional top-loading envelopes that require more careful insertion.
Will.028 chipboard protect photos and documents adequately?
Absolutely. The.028 chipboard thickness provides excellent puncture resistance and structural rigidity to protect against bending, creasing, and handling damage while remaining lightweight enough to optimize postage costs, a perfect balance for professional presentation.
Does the peel-and-seal closure require heat activation or special equipment?
No. The pre-applied peel-and-seal adhesive activates instantly with hand pressure, simply peel the backing strip and press to seal securely. The integrated pull-tab tear strip enables recipients to open quickly without tools, enhancing unboxing experience.
What's the cost advantage over heavier mailer alternatives?
Lightweight chipboard construction reduces per-unit postage significantly, especially for high-volume shippers. A case of 100 mailers saves on dimensional weight charges compared to thicker materials while eliminating the need for additional stiffeners, directly improving your shipping margin.
