Common questions
Why choose gusseted bags over flat merchandise bags?
Gusseted bags expand to 3" at the bottom, accommodating bulkier items without overstuffing. This reduces shipping dimensional weight charges, prevents product damage from compression, and maintains a professional appearance compared to overstuffed flat bags.
Are these bags suitable for hanging displays?
Yes. The 12" width and 18" height make these ideal for hang-tag retail applications. The kraft material provides a premium look while the serrated top allows for easy product insertion and professional presentation on retail hooks.
What shipping carriers accept these bags for dimensional weight calculations?
UPS, FedEx, and DHL all recognize expanded gusseted bags for reduced dimensional weight. The 3" gusset allows these bags to maintain shape without artificial inflation, ensuring consistent measurement compliance across major carriers.
How do serrated ends improve packing efficiency?
Serrated tops tear cleanly without scissors or box cutters, eliminating bottleneck delays in fulfillment operations. Staff can open bags with one hand while handling products with the other, significantly improving throughput in high-volume packing environments.
