Common questions
Can these bins stack securely without tipping?
Yes. The stable polypropylene construction and reinforced sidewalls support stacking up to 6 bins high when empty. When loaded, stack height should be limited based on item weight. The high-visibility yellow color also helps operators quickly identify improperly stacked bins, preventing workplace accidents.
Are these bins compatible with bin dividers and cup organizers?
Absolutely. These bins are designed to work with Packrift's Bin Divider (BINDS53) and Bin Cups to create customized compartments for small parts. This modular approach maximizes picking efficiency and reduces order errors in high-velocity operations.
Will these bins degrade if exposed to oils, solvents, or industrial chemicals?
No. FDA-compliant polypropylene is inherently resistant to grease, oils, most solvents, and industrial chemicals. This makes these bins ideal for automotive, food processing, and manufacturing environments where chemical exposure is routine. Regular cleaning does not compromise structural integrity.
How does the rear hanglock feature improve warehouse productivity?
The rear hanglock allows bins to tilt out 45 degrees when mounted on shelving, giving pickers complete visibility and access to contents without removing the bin. This design reduces picking time by 15-20%, minimizes strain on warehouse staff, and decreases the risk of dropped items or inventory damage during order fulfillment.
