Common questions
How much space do I save when nesting these containers?
When nested, these containers stack to approximately 1/3 of their operational height, cutting your empty storage footprint from 9 7/8" down to roughly 3-4" per container set. For a pallet of 40 cases (120 containers), you reclaim approximately 30+ linear feet of rack space.
Can I stack these containers filled to full capacity without lids?
Yes. These containers are engineered for stacking both with and without lids. The reinforced walls and corners support safe stacking of multiple filled units. We recommend BINS157 lids for sealed storage and added compression strength on upper-tier stacks.
Are these containers ergonomic for floor-level picking operations?
The 9 7/8" height is ideal for ergonomic work-at-waist-level access from standard shelving or mobile carts. The textured non-slip bottom prevents container shifting during rapid pick operations, reducing picker strain and improving safety compliance.
Do you offer matching lids, and are they sold separately?
Yes. Optional lids are available under SKU BINS157 and sold separately. Lids increase stacking load capacity and protect contents during transport, storage, and cross-dock operations.
