Common questions
What's the difference between 1.4 mil and thicker liners?
The 1.4 mil LLDPE construction balances cost-efficiency with durability. Linear low-density material provides excellent puncture and tear resistance for typical recycling streams while maintaining competitive pricing compared to 2.0+ mil alternatives. Ideal for controlled indoor environments where sharp items are minimal.
Why use color-coded liners for recycling?
Blue liners create immediate visual identification of recycling containers, reducing contamination and sorting errors. This simplifies your waste stream, improves recycling program compliance, and simplifies training for staff and building occupants, ultimately reducing processing costs for your waste management partner.
How many liners per case, and what's the roll configuration?
You receive 100 liners per case in coreless rolls. The star seal bottom design maximizes usable material and eliminates cardboard cores, reducing waste and storage clutter. Coreless rolls also dispense more smoothly from standard dispensers.
Are these liners compliant with recycling facility standards?
Yes. The transparent blue color meets industry standards for visual sorting identification. LLDPE material is widely accepted in municipal and private recycling programs. Always verify with your local waste hauler or facility for specific material requirements.
