Common questions
What makes 40 lb. crinkle paper better than lighter alternatives?
40 lb. weight provides cushioning density and void fill performance, protecting fragile items more effectively during shipping. Heavier paper maintains structural integrity longer and requires less material volume to achieve adequate protection, reducing overall packaging costs.
Can I mix red crinkle paper with other colors?
Yes, Packrift offers Paper Blends that combine multiple solid colors and Metallic Blends that pair solid colors with metallic options. Custom blending allows you to create branded or festive packaging combinations tailored to your product aesthetic.
Is this product environmentally compliant for shipping?
Yes, 100% recyclable paper material meets modern shipping compliance standards and eco-friendly packaging requirements. It's approved for both domestic and international shipments without hazardous material restrictions.
How much coverage does one 40 lb. case provide?
Coverage varies by fill depth and void size, but one 40 lb. case typically fills 6-8 cubic feet when used as void fill, or provides sufficient decorative cushioning for 50-100 gift boxes depending on presentation style and depth requirements.
