Common questions
Will these cable ties loosen during shipping and handling?
No. These ties feature permanent locking mechanisms that won't slip or migrate under vibration, impact, or temperature fluctuations common in transit environments. Once secured, they maintain grip integrity throughout the product lifecycle.
Are these cable ties compliant with shipping and packaging standards?
Yes. The 40 lb. nylon construction meets ASTM D6775 standards for general-purpose bundling and securing. They're widely used in logistics operations requiring DOT and ISTA compliance for safe product transport.
What's the tensile strength and maximum bundle diameter these ties can secure?
With 40 lb. tensile strength, these 5 1/2" ties are rated for bundles up to approximately 1.5" diameter. Suitable for cables, wire harnesses, and general packaging applications in electronics and industrial sectors.
How many ties are in a case, and what's the cost per unit at bulk volume?
Each case contains 1,000 ties. Bulk purchasing delivers significant per-unit savings compared to smaller quantities, making this ideal for high-volume operations. Request a quote for volume pricing on multiple cases.
