Common questions
Are these pouches non-abrasive for sensitive surfaces?
Yes. Made from smooth polyethylene foam, these pouches won't scratch, scuff, or mark fragile items, making them ideal for electronics, polished surfaces, and precision goods requiring pristine condition on arrival.
Can I use these for anti-static applications?
These standard white pouches are non-conductive. For static-sensitive electronics and components, we also offer Pink Anti-Static flush cut foam pouches that meet ESD protection requirements.
How does 1/8" foam thickness compare to other cushioning options?
The 1/8" thickness provides reliable shock absorption for small to medium-sized items while minimizing added weight. This density reduces shipping costs versus bubble wrap or thicker foams while maintaining excellent fragile item protection.
What's the shelf life and storage recommendation?
Polyethylene foam pouches maintain cushioning properties indefinitely when stored in cool, dry conditions away from direct sunlight. Pre-sealed design prevents compression during storage, ensuring consistent protection throughout your inventory lifecycle.
