Common questions
Are these hook dots compatible with standard tape dispensers?
Yes, the 5/8" individual dots work with most automatic dot dispensers used in packing operations. Pre-separated format eliminates feeder jams common with roll stock, improving line uptime.
Do I need to purchase loop dots separately?
Yes, hook and loop components are sold separately. You'll need matching 5/8" black loop dots (SKU varies) to complete the fastening system. This allows flexibility to mix hook and loop configurations.
How many times can these dots be reused?
Hook dots can typically endure 10-50 attach/release cycles depending on application force and surface texture. For permanent case sealing, treat as single-use; for reusable pallet systems, expect 15-25 cycles before adhesive degradation.
Will the adhesive work on cold corrugated boxes?
Yes, the rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive bonds effectively in cold warehouses and low-temperature storage areas. Firm pressure during application ensures optimal adhesion on moisture-wicked corrugated surfaces.
