Common questions
Do these hook dots work with standard loop tape, and is core compatibility an issue?
Yes, these nylon hook dots are compatible with standard loop tape and loop dots. They're sold separately, so you can pair them with your existing loop inventory. No core compatibility concerns, the pressure-sensitive adhesive works independently of backing material.
Will the adhesive hold in our cold storage environment?
The rubber-based, pressure-sensitive adhesive is specifically formulated for both high and low temperature environments, making it reliable in cold chain operations. Once pressed firmly, the bond strengthens without heat activation, ideal for refrigerated warehouse conditions.
How quickly do these dots set on the dispenser?
These dots activate on contact with pressure, no heat or curing time required. They're ready for immediate handling once pressed, allowing your packing line to maintain full speed without waiting for adhesive activation.
Can we reposition these after application, and will they eventually lose holding strength?
Yes, the dots can be repositioned before final pressing, which is valuable for quality control adjustments. Once fully pressed with firm pressure, the interlock creates a durable bond. For temporary applications, repositioning is possible; for permanent case sealing, press firmly to ensure maximum hook-loop engagement.
