No. Unlike standard Instapak Quick® systems, these bags require zero equipment, no preheating unit, no activation chamber, no compressed air systems. Simply place the sealed bag against your product, and the room-temperature chemical activation expands the foam automatically.
What weight items are these bags designed for?
These 18 x 20" Heavy-Duty bags are recommended for shipments weighing 40-80 lbs. For lighter items (under 40 lbs), standard Instapak Quick® RT bags may be more cost-effective; for heavier shipments, multiple bags or alternative solutions are recommended.
Is there cleanup required after the foam expands?
No cleanup required. The chemicals are fully contained within the bag, and the polyurethane foam expands cleanly inside the sealed environment. This reduces labor costs and shipping facility complexity compared to traditional foam systems.
What temperature conditions are required for the foam to activate properly?
The recommended operating temperature range is 65-90°F. Room temperature activation makes these bags ideal for standard warehouses and distribution centers without climate control requirements, reducing operational constraints compared to equipment-dependent foam systems.
