Common questions
Is the blade removable or replaceable?
No. The DFC-364 features a permanently attached, non-removable stainless steel blade. This design eliminates hazardous loose blades in the workplace and reduces liability while ensuring the blade stays sharp throughout the tool's life. When the blade dulls, the entire cutter is disposable, a cost-effective approach for high-use environments.
Can this cutter handle both stretch wrap and box tape?
Yes. The DFC-364 is engineered for dual functionality: the main stainless blade effortlessly cuts through stretch wrap and protective films, while the integrated bladeless tape splitter safely splits box tape without exposing a cutting edge, reducing injury risk in busy shipping rooms.
How does this tool improve warehouse safety?
The non-removable blade design and integrated bladeless tape splitter eliminate two major workplace hazards: loose, sharp blade fragments and accidental cuts from exposed cutting edges. The ergonomic, form-fitting handle also reduces repetitive strain injuries during high-volume operations.
Why buy disposable cutters instead of reusable ones?
Disposable cutters like the DFC-364 offer lower total cost of ownership in high-volume operations, consistent blade sharpness without maintenance, simplified inventory management, and elimination of blade-sharpening downtime. One bulk case (25 cutters) provides cost-effective coverage for entire teams across multiple shifts.
