Common questions
Will the retractable mechanism damage employee clothing or lanyards over time?
No. The smooth translucent housing and vinyl snap-on strap protect clothing from damage. The steel spring clip distributes pressure evenly across belt surfaces, and the 36-inch extension minimizes constant tension when not actively swiping credentials.
Is the steel clip secure enough for high-traffic environments?
Yes. The heavy-duty steel spring clip provides firm, reliable attachment to belts and waistbands. It withstands frequent badge access movements and maintains secure positioning throughout extended shifts in busy facilities.
What is the maximum badge weight this lanyard supports?
The steel spring mechanism and nylon strap reliably support standard ID badges (typically 0.5-2 oz). For heavier badge assemblies, verify total weight does not exceed 3 oz to ensure optimal retraction performance.
Can we customize or imprint these lanyards with our company branding?
The clear translucent design allows badge visibility and brand display through the housing. For custom imprinting options on the vinyl strap or housing, contact our sales team for bulk order specifications and lead times.
