Common questions
Will newsprint transfer ink or stain my products?
No. Our newsprint sheets are unprinted and clean, eliminating any risk of ink transfer, contamination, or staining. Safe for direct contact with finished goods and sensitive surfaces.
How many sheets do I need for a typical shipment?
For lightweight items (up to 5 lbs.), 2 - 4 sheets typically provide adequate cushioning. Medium items (5 - 15 lbs.) may require 4 - 8 sheets. A single case of 3,300 sheets supports approximately 400 - 800 shipments depending on product weight and void space.
Are these sheets compliant with shipping carrier requirements?
Yes. Unprinted newsprint meets standard void fill requirements for USPS, UPS, and FedEx. The 100% recycled composition also aligns with eco-friendly shipping certifications and customer sustainability expectations.
What's the cost advantage compared to bubble wrap or air pillows?
Newsprint sheets cost 60 - 75% less per unit than bubble wrap or inflatable pillows while offering comparable void fill performance for most shipments. Pre-cut sizing eliminates measuring and cutting waste, further reducing labor costs and material spend.
