Common questions
What's the difference between usable length and actual length?
Usable length (30") refers to the internal storage capacity for your rolled materials. Actual tube length is longer to allow proper end cap installation and structural overlap. This ensures your documents remain secure during shipping without protruding from the tube.
Can these tubes be used for blueprint mailing?
Yes, these 6" x 30" kraft jumbo tubes are specifically designed for blueprint, architectural drawing, and large-format document shipping. The rigid 3-ply construction protects rolled documents from crushing, and the 6" diameter accommodates standard architectural roll sizes.
Are end caps included, and can I purchase them separately?
End caps are sold separately to allow flexibility based on your application needs. You can order 6" end caps (SKU: PMTCAP6-C820) to create fully sealed, professional-looking mailers for customer shipments.
How many tubes do I get per case, and what's the cost per unit?
Each case contains 10 kraft jumbo tubes. This bulk case pricing reduces per-unit costs compared to smaller quantity purchases, making it ideal for high-volume mailroom operations and regular shipping needs.
