Common questions
What's the difference between usable length and actual tube length?
Usable space (36") refers to the interior capacity for your materials. Actual tube length is slightly longer to accommodate end caps and provide structural integrity. This ensures your documents fit comfortably while the tube maintains crush resistance.
Are these tubes suitable for USPS and parcel shipping compliance?
Yes. The 0.125" thick spiral wound construction meets standard shipping carrier requirements for rigid tube mailers. Verify final package weight and dimensions with your carrier, and consider adding end caps for sealed shipments.
Can I order end caps separately?
Absolutely. Additional 6" end caps (SKU: PMTCAP6-C820) are available for purchase separately, allowing you to cap tubes for complete protection and a professional finished appearance.
What industries use 6x36 kraft tubes most?
Architecture, engineering, advertising agencies, print shops, art galleries, and technical documentation services rely on these tubes for blueprint mailing, poster shipping, and oversized document protection.
