Common questions
What actually fits inside a 7x7" bag?
The listed size is 7x7". The catalog lists inside-usable dimensions of 7" x 7" (Inside Measurements), so that measurement is what your item has to fit within.
What does 2 mil film mean in practice?
A mil is one-thousandth of an inch, so 2 mil film is 2/1000" thick — 4 mil film, for example, is twice the film thickness of 2 mil. Heavier film of the same material stands up to punctures and rough handling better; lighter film costs less per bag and packs tighter. This listing's material is specified as LDPE Polyethylene (2 Mil).
Can I swap PB3601 for the next size up or down?
Not as an exact replacement. The closest sizes in this line are 6x8" and 7x9"; any size change alters the usable interior. Before switching, match the listed dimensions, 2 mil thickness, and case count — then reorder by exact SKU PB3601.
How does this order ship? And can I use them for food?
This listing is sold as one case of 1,000 bags — roughly $0.047 per bag at the current case price (confirm the live price before ordering). Orders ship from Packrift's five US warehouse regions (Central IL, NE PA, S TX, SE GA, and W CA); delivery options and timing are shown at checkout. On food use: the film is LDPE Polyethylene (2 Mil), a material commonly used in food packaging, but food-contact compliance is certified per product lot. Check the spec sheet or contact us for documentation before direct food contact.
