Common questions
How does polyester strapping compare to steel strapping in cost and durability?
Polyester strapping can save up to 40% on material costs while delivering comparable tensile strength for most applications. Unlike steel, it won't rust or corrode, eliminating damage to cargo and reducing replacement frequency, making it more economical over the product lifecycle.
What sealing methods work with this smooth polyester strapping?
This smooth-surface strapping is compatible with both serrated and sandpaper seals. Choose serrated seals for faster, one-motion closure or sandpaper seals for maximum adjustability and grip, both methods deliver consistent, reliable load security.
Is this strapping suitable for heavy-duty shipping and outdoor storage?
Yes. Rated for medium to heavy-duty applications, this.025 gauge polyester strapping retains tension longer than alternatives and resists environmental degradation from moisture, salt, and UV exposure, ideal for outdoor storage and long-distance shipment.
How much weight reduction does polyester strapping offer compared to steel?
Polyester strapping delivers 80% weight reduction versus steel strapping of equivalent strength. This dramatically reduces worker fatigue, lowers shipping costs, and improves operational efficiency in high-volume packing environments.
