About this item
SKU PT1202 — 2150' × 12", 2 Mil, Clear.
12 in x 2150 ft 2 mil clear poly tubing. Makes custom-length bags on demand for odd-sized items. 2 mil film. Shoppers also call these plastic bags or poly bags. Clear, not pink: the pink option is listed separately. Cut and seal custom-length bags straight off the roll.
Common questions
How do I size bags cut from this tubing?
The roll is listed at 12" x 2150'. You cut the tubing to whatever length each item needs and seal both ends, so bag length is up to you; only the layflat width is fixed. Size the width with a little slack so contents slide in without stretching the film.
What does 2 mil film mean in practice?
A mil is one-thousandth of an inch, so 2 mil film is 2/1000" thick — 4 mil film, for example, is twice the film thickness of 2 mil. Heavier film of the same material stands up to punctures and rough handling better; lighter film costs less per bag and packs tighter. This listing's material is specified as 2 Mil Polyethylene (PE).
Can I swap PT1202 for the next size up or down?
Not as an exact replacement. Treat any different size or film weight as a different product. Before switching, match the listed dimensions and 2 mil thickness — then reorder by exact SKU PT1202.
How does the roll arrive, and what do I need to seal it?
Cut pieces are closed on both ends — most operations use an impulse or heat sealer, though tape or twist ties also work for temporary closures. Orders ship from Packrift's five US warehouse regions (Central IL, NE PA, S TX, SE GA, and W CA); delivery options and timing are shown at checkout.
