What can this poly tubing roll be used to bag?
The roll is listed at 15" x 2900'. You cut the tubing to whatever length each item needs and seal both ends, so bag length is up to you; only the layflat width is fixed. Size the width with a little slack so contents slide in without stretching the film.
Is 1.5 mil the right thickness for my use?
A mil is one-thousandth of an inch, so 1.5 mil film is 1.5/1000" thick — 4 mil film, for example, is twice the film thickness of 2 mil. Heavier film of the same material stands up to punctures and rough handling better; lighter film costs less per bag and packs tighter.
