Common questions
Is this lid compatible with all Slim Jim trash cans?
This lid is specifically designed for Rubbermaid® 23-gallon Slim Jim cans. The 22" x 11" dimensions ensure a secure fit. Always verify your current bin capacity before ordering to ensure compatibility.
How easy is it to clean and maintain?
The smooth plastic surface wipes clean with standard disinfectants and janitorial supplies, requiring minimal maintenance. The swing-top mechanism operates smoothly with regular use and resists wear from repeated opening and closing.
Does the swing-top lid help with odor control?
Yes. The swing-top design closes securely after each use, containing odors and preventing pest access. This is especially valuable in food service, healthcare, and industrial settings where waste concealment is essential.
What is the cost benefit compared to replacing entire trash cans?
Replacing just the lid extends your existing Slim Jim can's lifespan significantly, reducing capital expenditure. A worn or damaged lid can be replaced independently at a fraction of the cost of a new container, improving ROI for facility maintenance budgets.
