Common questions
Are these seals one-time use, and can they be reapplied?
Yes, these are single-use seals designed for one-time application only. The tamper-resistant locking mechanism cannot be reopened without breaking the seal, ensuring chain-of-custody integrity. Once applied and tightened, the seal must be cut and discarded, guaranteeing tamper evidence.
What size range do these 9" seals accommodate?
The adjustable pull-tight design allows users to cinch the seal to their specific requirements, eliminating the need to stock multiple seal sizes. This flexibility makes them ideal for applications with varying cable, strap, or latch widths, reducing inventory complexity and cost.
Do the consecutive numbers help with tracking and compliance?
Yes. Consecutive numbering enables chain-of-custody documentation, audit trails, and regulatory compliance reporting. Each seal's unique number can be recorded in shipping logs or inventory systems to verify seal integrity and prevent freight tampering.
How do these perform in extreme weather conditions?
The all-plastic, weather-resistant construction withstands extreme heat and cold without degradation. The acetal locking mechanism remains secure and tamper-resistant across temperature ranges, making them suitable for international shipments, outdoor storage, and harsh climates.
