Common questions
Are these seals compliant with DOT, TAPA, and international shipping regulations?
Yes. The tamper-evident design with consecutive numbering meets standard transportation security requirements. However, verify specific carrier or customs requirements for your application, as regulations vary by destination and commodity type.
Why choose adjustable pull-tight seals over fixed-length alternatives?
Adjustable seals eliminate inventory bloat by fitting varying container sizes, from 4" to 12"‚with a single SKU. This reduces storage costs, simplifies ordering, and ensures you're never caught without the right seal size.
How does the acetal locking mechanism prevent tampering?
The acetal plastic lock mechanism is designed so that once cinched, the seal cannot be reopened or reseal without visibly breaking or severing the cable. Any tampering attempt is immediately evident during inspection.
What's the shelf life, and do these seals perform in extreme temperatures?
All-plastic construction provides multi-year shelf life and maintains integrity in temperatures ranging from freezing to high heat, ideal for refrigerated, ambient, and outdoor storage scenarios common in logistics.
