Common questions
Are these seals compliant with DOT and customs regulations?
Yes. The SE1009Y features a tamper-evident, consecutively numbered design that meets DOT 49 CFR 80.9 requirements and supports customs sealing protocols. Each seal is one-time-use only, providing auditable proof of container integrity.
Can I adjust the seal length for different container sizes?
Absolutely. The pull-tight design allows users to cinch the seal to their specific size requirements, making it ideal for varying load dimensions without requiring multiple SKU inventory.
How weather-resistant are these seals?
The heavy-duty acetal plastic construction withstands extreme cold and heat without degradation, ensuring reliable security across outdoor storage, transcontinental shipping, and harsh climate environments.
Why are these seals matted in strips of 10?
Strip matting reduces handling friction during high-volume operations, improves ease-of-use for warehouse staff, and provides natural packaging units for tracking and accountability within your case of 100.
