Common questions
Are these seals accepted by international customs authorities?
Yes. Blue Wire Padlock Seals are specifically approved by both UK and US Customs and are recognized for TSA-regulated airport and liquor cart applications, ensuring compliance across major shipping corridors.
How does the tamper-evident feature work?
The polypropylene body discolors or brushes when tampered with, providing clear visual evidence of security breaches while the galvanized wire hasp remains structurally intact, allowing inspectors to confirm shipment security without compromising the seal.
Can we track individual seals?
Yes. Each seal is consecutively numbered, enabling shipment-level tracking, audit trails, and accountability across your supply chain. This numbering supports customs documentation and internal reconciliation processes.
What makes these more cost-effective than alternative security solutions?
At bulk case pricing (1,000 units), wire padlock seals deliver per-unit savings compared to proprietary systems. Their durability eliminates replacement costs during transit, and customs pre-approval eliminates inspection delays that increase logistics costs.
