About this item
SKU T90122B — 55 yds × 55 yds, 2.2 Mil, Blue. Sold as a case of 36, shipped from US warehouses.
2 in x 55 yd 2 mil blue carton sealing packing tape 36 per case. A shipping-room staple for sealing and bundling. Also called packing tape, carton sealing tape, or box tape. This is the blue version; black and clear options are separate listings. Sold 36 per case (one case = 36 rolls). For carton sealing on packing lines and at shipping stations.
Common questions
Will this blue tape adhere securely to corrugated cardboard on a high-speed packing line?
Yes. The acrylic adhesive formula achieves full bond strength to cardboard immediately, without pressure dwell time. The 2.2 mil polypropylene backing resists tearing during automated dispenser operation and maintains adhesion through temperature fluctuations in transit.
What dispenser equipment is compatible with this 2" x 55 yard tape?
This tape works with all standard Tape Logic handheld dispensers and most 2-inch automated carton sealing machines. Verify your dispenser core diameter (typically 3-inch) before ordering; this tape ships on standard 3-inch cores.
How many boxes can one roll seal, and what's the cost per box?
A single 2" x 55 yard roll seals approximately 30-50 boxes depending on seal pattern (H-pattern vs. T-pattern). At 36 rolls per case, you get 1,980 linear yards per case, translating to roughly 1,080-1,800 sealed boxes per case.
Is blue tape color-coding visible to carriers and end recipients?
Yes. The bright blue color is immediately visible on box surfaces and shipping labels, making it ideal for internal logistics sorting. Carriers recognize color-coded systems for priority routing, and recipients see the color as a delivery condition indicator.
