Common questions
Will this black tape work with our existing carton sealing tape dispensers?
Yes. The 2" width and standard roll core are compatible with all commercial handheld and tabletop carton sealing dispensers, including Tape Logic brand dispensers. The 2.2 mil thickness feeds smoothly without jamming or binding.
How does acrylic adhesive compare to hot-melt on corrugated boxes?
Acrylic adhesive activates on contact with cardboard fibers and requires no heat, making it faster at packing lines and more reliable in cold storage environments. It delivers humidity and temperature resistance compared to hot-melt, preventing seal failure during transit and storage.
Can we use black tape alongside other Tape Logic colors for our shipping system?
Absolutely. Black pairs perfectly with the full Tape Logic color range (green, red, orange, yellow, blue, white) for multi-tier routing systems. All colors feature identical 2.2 mil construction and acrylic adhesion for consistent sealing performance across your color-coded workflow.
What seal strength should we expect on standard RSC cartons?
At 2.2 mil with acrylic adhesive, this tape achieves industry-standard 32 lb/inch adhesive strength on kraft corrugated. It seals both the center seam and flap overlap on regular slotted containers (RSC), providing full case integrity throughout shipping and handling.
