Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing packing line dispenser?
Yes. Tape Logic carton sealing tape is designed for compatibility with standard tape dispensers used in most packing operations. The 2-inch width and 3-inch core diameter fit industry-standard machines. Verify your dispenser specifications match standard tape dimensions for optimal feed performance.
How does the 2.2 mil thickness compare to standard shipping tape?
The 2.2 mil gauge provides a strong balance between seal strength and tape consumption efficiency. It delivers adequate holding power for corrugated boxes without excessive material waste, helping reduce per-box tape costs on high-volume lines while maintaining reliable adhesion across various cardboard types.
Does acrylic adhesive stick well to recycled cardboard?
Yes. Acrylic adhesive formulations perform reliably on both virgin and recycled corrugated cardboard. For best adhesion, ensure box surfaces are clean and dry. In high-humidity environments, slight pressure from the dispenser roller ensures optimal contact and bonding.
How many cartons can one case of 36 rolls seal?
Each 55-yard roll typically seals 25-30 standard boxes (using 2-3 inches per box). A case of 36 rolls can seal approximately 900-1,080 cartons, depending on box size and sealing pattern. Calculate your daily volume to determine case ordering frequency.
