Common questions
Is this tape compatible with my existing tape dispenser?
Yes. This tape features a standard 3-inch cardboard core that works with all Packrift carton sealing tape dispensers and industry-standard mechanical dispensers. The 2-inch width accommodates both 2-inch and wide-format dispenser models.
How does the acrylic adhesive perform on corrugated boxes?
The acrylic adhesive formula provides immediate, pressure-sensitive bonding on kraft and corrugated surfaces without heat or moisture activation. This ensures reliable seal strength during handling, stacking, and shipping without adhesion failures on cardboard with standard moisture content.
Can I use green tape with other Tape Logic colored rolls for my color-coding system?
Absolutely. Tape Logic offers green, red, orange, yellow, blue, white, and black in identical 2" x 55 yard specifications. This allows you to build a complete color-coding taxonomy, for example, green for ground shipping, red for expedited, blue for customer returns.
What's the adhesive strength, and will tape hold on boxes stored in cool conditions?
The 2.2 mil polypropylene with acrylic adhesive maintains seal integrity across standard warehouse temperatures (55, 75°F). The adhesive doesn't require heat activation and performs consistently on both new and recycled corrugated, making it ideal for ambient-storage distribution centers.
