Common questions
Will this tape work with my automated carton sealing machine?
Yes. The consistent smooth release and standard 3" core are compatible with most commercial tape dispensers and semi-automatic case sealers. The 25 lbs/inch tensile strength provides secure closure without excessive tension that causes jams.
How does acrylic adhesive perform on recycled corrugated compared to hot-melt tape?
Acrylic adhesive bonds excellently to recycled corrugated and maintains clarity indefinitely without yellowing, ideal for long-term storage. Hot-melt tape sets faster but can yellow over time and may fail in cold conditions. Acrylic's 32°-140°F range makes it more versatile for temperature-variable shipping environments.
Does this tape meet shipping carrier regulations?
Yes. This tape meets both UPS and U.S. Postal Service regulations, ensuring your sealed cases comply with carrier requirements without additional handling or rejection at distribution centers.
Why won't the acrylic adhesive yellow, and why does that matter?
Acrylic adhesive is optically stable and resists UV and oxidation, maintaining crystal clarity for 6+ months in storage. For branded shipments and customer-visible cases, non-yellowing tape preserves your brand image and reduces the need for re-sealing older inventory.
