Common questions
Why is acrylic tape better than rubber-based tape for long-term storage?
Acrylic tape maintains consistent adhesive strength and clarity for 7+ years without oxidation or yellowing, whereas rubber-based tapes degrade faster and discolor. For packing line supervisors managing inventory that sits in warehouses, acrylic's stability reduces re-work and maintains professional box appearance throughout the storage lifecycle.
Will this tape work with our existing 2-inch tape dispensers?
Yes. The 3-inch cardboard core is standard across all 2-inch dispenser models. The consistent roll diameter and smooth acrylic release ensure jam-free operation without requiring equipment changes. If you need dispenser recommendations, see our Carton Sealing Tape Dispensers category.
Does Tape Logic #350 meet shipping carrier requirements?
Absolutely. This tape is certified to meet UPS and U.S. postal regulations for carton sealing, ensuring every sealed case passes carrier acceptance inspections. Its 3.5 mil strength also exceeds minimum requirements, reducing the risk of box failure during transit.
How does this tape perform on recycled corrugated compared to virgin fiber?
Tape Logic #350's acrylic adhesive is engineered specifically for recycled corrugated's variable surface texture and moisture content. It grips reliably without over-tacking, preventing roll adhesion and dispenser slowdowns, critical for maintaining line speed on high-volume packing operations.
