Common questions
Will this tape work with standard packing line dispensers?
Yes. The 2-inch width and standard core diameter are compatible with all major industrial tape dispensers including handheld models and automated sealing equipment. The 3.1 mil thickness feeds smoothly without bunching or tearing during application.
How does the hot melt adhesive compare to acrylic adhesive on sealing speed?
The quick-sticking hot melt formula achieves full bond strength immediately upon application, eliminating the 24-hour cure time required by acrylic alternatives. This reduces line bottlenecks and allows boxes to move directly to the next station without drying time.
Is this tape suitable for refrigerated or freezer storage boxes?
Yes. The 3.1 mil acrylic base maintains adhesion and flexibility in temperatures as low as -13°F, making it ideal for cold chain logistics and refrigerated warehouse environments. Crystal clear composition won't become brittle in low-temperature conditions.
How long will 12 rolls last on a typical production line?
A single 55-yard roll seals approximately 80-120 standard boxes depending on sealing pattern (single vs. double seals). Most high-volume lines consume a case every 2-3 business days. The 12-roll case format aligns with typical supervisor ordering cycles and reduces inventory management overhead.
